At Herotel, we believe in the power of knowledge to transform lives. It’s not just about connecting devices; it’s about connecting people and their communities. That’s why we’re thrilled to share the success of our Ambassador Training Program, a joint initiative with our valued partner, Excelgrow. Together, we’ve equipped 280 individuals with the skills to navigate the digital landscape, transforming them into Herotel Ambassadors.  

These Ambassadors are more than just representatives; they are catalysts for change in their communities. Through rigorous training, they’ve not only gained technical proficiency but also developed a deep understanding of the impact that connectivity can have on local economies. Many of these Ambassadors have turned this knowledge into earning opportunities, providing services like digital literacy classes, technical support, and more within their communities.  

This program is accredited by Excelgrow.  

Key components of the training initiatives encompassed Entrepreneurship, Customer Care, and Herotel sales training, all approached with a fresh transformative angle. Recognizing that collaboration and integration with business processes are critical success factors, these elements were strategically woven into the project plan. This ensures that business readiness is in place, enabling Ambassadors to commence selling shortly after completing their training. The overall success of the project hinges on collective business efforts.  

Through these empowered individuals, we’re not just expanding our network; we’re fostering a network of changemakers committed to a connected and empowered South Africa.
